Raquel Ormella’s exhibition Southern Economies presents new textile works commissioned for the ART+CLIMATE=CHANGE 2017 festival, alongside an installation from 2005, ‘130 Davey Street’. The new works use hi-vis material to map Antarctica, revealing this ‘wilderness’ as a space of contested global political economies.
